Before play begins, each player declares how many tricks they expect to win that hand. The minimum bid is 1. You cannot bid zero. Your bid is your contract — meet it or beat it to score positive points.

Play Your Tricks

Players take turns leading and following suit. Spades are always trump — they beat every other suit. You must follow the led suit if you can. If you cannot follow suit, you may play any card including a trump spade.

Score & Repeat

After 13 tricks are played, scores are tallied. Win exactly your bid or more, and you score positively. Fall short of your bid and you lose points equal to your bid. A full Callbreak Quick game runs 5 rounds.

  • If you win exactly your bid: you score that number of points (e.g., bid 4, win 4 = +4).
